DALLAS – Arkansas women’s tennis closed out its final day at the SMU Invitational Sunday.
Sophomore Mia Jurasic led the way for the Razorbacks in singles action. In the third place bracket of the Mustang Draw, Jurasic downed SMU’s Vaszilisza Bulgakova, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2.
Elsewhere on the court in singles consolation play, Nicole Breaux and Peyton Jennings each dropped their final contests of the tournament.
In doubles consolation action, UTEP’s duo of Matilda Tench and Raven Bennett defeated Breaux and Jurasic, 6-3.
The Razorbacks return to the court on Thursday, Oct. 15 when they travel to the ITA Central Regional Championship in Stillwater, Okla.
