Razorbacks Help Fight Hunger In NWA

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas women’s basketball fans are invited to participate in a canned food drive at the Razorbacks’ game against Abilene Christian on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Bud Walton Arena.

Bring a non-perishable canned food item and get $2 admission to the game. The proceeds will benefit the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank which provides meals to more than 160 agencies in the Northwest Arkansas region. Collection bins will be located inside the South and West entrances so show your donation at the ticket windows for your $2 ticket.

Arkansas is 4-2 on the year after splitting a pair of games at the UTEP Classic last week. Malica Monk and Devin Cosper continue to lead the Razorbacks in scoring at 19.5 and 19.3 points per game, respectively. Abilene Christian enters the game with a 3-1 record and this is the first meeting between the programs.
