Razorbacks Move Up in Coaches' Poll

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas football team moved up to No. 18 in the Amway Coaches Poll, announced Tuesday by USA Today.

The Razorbacks are fresh off a 48-13 win against UTEP in the season opener. Senior quarterback Brandon Allen completed 14 of 18 passes for a career-high 308 yards and four touchdowns while junior running back Alex Collins added 127 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

This marks the second time in as many weeks that Arkansas has been ranked as the Razorbacks also checked in at No. 20 in the preseason coaches poll.

Arkansas remained at No. 18 in the Associated Press poll, which was also released by the AP on Tuesday.

The Razorbacks return to action on Saturday when they host Toledo in Little Rock. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. and will be televised live on SEC Network Alternate.
