Malica Monk and Devin Cosper continue to lead the Razorbacks both in scoring and in ball-handling. Both players have scored in double figures in all seven games this year and their leadership has helped the Razorbacks rank second in the nation in fewest turnovers per game. Monk also leads the Southeastern Conference with 2.6 steals per game while Cosper leads the league with 3.6 made 3-pointers per game.
Junior Bailey Zimmerman is being relied upon to be a perimeter defensive stopper and has defended well from beyond the arc. Jailyn Mason’s point production is up from this time last season and she is also taking good care of the basketball for Arkansas.
Arkansas has participated in the Big 12/SEC Challenge for three years with a 2-1 record. The Razorbacks defeated Oklahoma in North Little Rock in the inaugural challenge and fell to #5 Texas in Oklahoma City the following year. The tournament expanded to include more teams last year and Arkansas defeated Texas Tech in Bud Walton Arena.
