Phil Steele, who writes for ESPN.com and produces the annual Phil Steele CFB Preview magazine, recently released his 2015 Spring Football Guide and highlighted Arkansas several times.
The popular college football prognosticator used nine sets of power rankings and determined that Arkansas played the nation’s toughest schedule. There were five SEC teams in his top 10 toughest schedules, including Auburn at No. 3, Ole Miss at No. 4, Tennessee at No. 7 and Texas A&M at No. 9.
Other tidbits from his Spring Football Guide:
- In 2015, Arkansas will be one of just four teams that will play 10 teams that were bowl eligible last season.
- Arkansas ranks No. 24 nationally in Phil Steele’s 2015 Frosh Rankings.
- The Razorbacks return four players that were named to Phil Steele’s 2014 All-SEC teams, including TE Hunter Henry (2nd team), RB Jonathan Williams (3rd team), RB Alex Collins (3rd team) and OL Denver Kirkland (3rd team).
