ROME, Italy — The University of Arkansas spent its second day in Rome, Italy, on Friday.

It was a day filled with touring and sightseeing that included the Colosseum, a bus tour around town and Trevi Fountain.

Hot and humid conditions continued on Friday as Arkansas was allowed some afternoon free time to explore the many points of interest near their hotel. The Roman Forum, Campidoglio City Square, the Spanish Steps and the Pantheon were just a few of the locations within walking distance.

Arkansas has an early departure Saturday morning for a tour of the Vatican City, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel. The team is also scheduled to take part in the “Amazing Race Roma” in which teams will have to perform tasks and solve clues to locations around the city.
