BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — University of Arkansas head men’s basketball coach Mike Anderson and sophomore Rickey Scott traveled to Birmingham, Ala., on Thursday to participate in the Southeastern Conference’s annual basketball media days. The Razorbacks began their two hour whirlwind tour of print, Internet and television media at 3:30 p.m., and were the final group of coaches and players at the day-long event along with Florida and South Carolina. Anderson’s day began with ESPN, continued with other television networks like Comcast and Fox, and included a web stream with the SEC Digital Network and live radio with Sirius XM. The event concluded with Anderson and Scott visiting with the print, Internet and local television in a 40-minute marathon session. The Razorbacks continue practices on Friday in anticipation of their Red-White scrimmage which is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m., at Bud Walton Arena. Arkansas’ players will be on the arena concourse at 1:45 to sign autographs for approximately 45 minutes.
