Razorbacks continue to improve during spring

Fayetteville Ark.- The University of Arkansas football team continued its spring practice with a workout inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Defensive coordinator and secondary coach Paul Haynes met with the media following practice and talked about how productive the team has been this spring.

"On both sides of the ball the competition has been unbelievable," Coach Haynes said. "We kind of let them go with the live periods to challenge them. We really did it at the end of practice. We started it at the beginning to get them locked in and focused, but the competition on both sides and the effort has been awesome."

With the spring season winding down, Haynes mentioned the improvement of the team.

"The guys have improved tremendously this spring," Coach Haynes said." "The young guys have picked up all of our terminology which has been a positive and will help us move forward."

The Razorbacks have one more practice this week leading up to the Red-White Spring Game, sponsored by Cox Advanced TV. Admission is free to the game, which kicks off Saturday at 2 p.m. The game will be aired live on CST with live look-ins on ESPN during ESPN Goal Line: Spring Football and available worldwide on ESPN3.com to those outside the CST viewing area.
