Razorbacks face Cougars for Super

FAYETTEVILLE — The University of Arkansas Razorback baseball team can advance to the NCAA Men’s College World Series Super Regional round with a victory over the winner of this afternoon’s elimination game.

The top-seed Razorbacks await the winner of Kansas State and Washington State at 2:05 today. First pitch for the potential finale game is 7:05 p.m.

Tickets remain available at the gates for tonight’s games for $15.

Arkansas’ attendance for the Fayetteville Regional ranks third in the nation for regionals based on actual attendance; second on paid attendance. Heading into tonight, Texas and the Austin Regional is first.

Last night’s 8,428 paid and 9,016 actual for Game Four, Arkansas vs. Washington State, is the largest single attendance thus far.

The all-time NCAA attendance mark at Baum Stadium is 10,027, set in 2004 with a Super Regional versus Florida State.

All games will stream live and for free through RazorVision for the weekend. Audio for the non-Arkansas games to be provided by visiting team radio crews.

Per NCAA regulations, the Razorbacks cannot provide a real-time blog from this weekend’s games. Periodic updates will be sent to subscribers of the Razorback Athletic Department’s official Twitter feeds, @ArkRazorbacks for Arkansas games and @RazorbackRoad for other games and home event management announcements.
