Razorbacks out for blood in Game for Life

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Razorbacks are out for blood in a Game for Life competition with the Kentucky Wildcats. The University of Arkansas, in cooperation with the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO), is participating in the 15th Annual Game for Life Blood Drive. Beginning Monday, Feb. 9, the Razorback community will have the week-long opportunity to donate blood at select locations around the University of Arkansas campus.In build-up competition with the University of Kentucky, the two Southeastern Conference institutions are tied, 7-7 heading into this tiebreaker round of donations. Four locations—Humphreys Hall, Maple Hill South, Pomfret Hall and Bud Walton Arena—around the U of A campus have been designated as donation centers.

Participants in the 15th Annual Game for Life Blood Drive will receive an event t-shirt, free pizza donated by Papa John’s and tickets to an upcoming Arkansas women’s basketball game.

The winner of the 15th Annual Game for Life Blood Drive will be announced during the Arkansas vs. Kentucky men’s basketball game on Saturday, Feb. 14 at Bud Walton Arena.
