Razorbacks prepare for No. 1 Alabama

FAYETTEVILLE -The University of Arkansas football team practiced on the UA practice fields on Tuesday in preparation for its first Southeastern Conference game against Alabama on Saturday inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

Offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Paul Petrino spoke with the media after practice about the team’s intensity at Tuesday’s practice.

"Everyone worked hard in practice tonight and had a good attitude," Coach Petrino said. "It just comes down to execution. Believing you are going to get it done; knowing the plan, not making mistakes and execute. If you can do that you can win."

Coach Petrino also commented on what the offense will have to do this weekend to be successful.

"They are the number one team in the country, they are real good on defense," Coach Petrino said. "We have to have a great plan and just go out there and execute it. Execution is what it all comes down to."

Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 2:30 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on CBS.
