Razorbacks ready for Southwest Classic

FAYETTEVILLE – The 18th-ranked University of Arkansas football team finished its full workouts Thursday afternoon inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in preparation for Saturday’s Southwest Classic against No. 14 Texas A&M inside Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Head coach Bobby Petrino was impressed with the quality of his team’s practices this week.

"I liked our work ethic," Coach Petrino said. "I think we’ve had our hardest, most physical, fastest practices. I like our attitude."

Coach Petrino commented that focusing on the little things within the game will lead the Razorbacks to success.

"If we just focus on doing our job, having success one play at a time, doing things right, playing with great effort, winning takes care of itself," Coach Petrino said. "If we do that, we’ll play well."

Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 11 a.m. The game will be aired nationally on ESPN.

A limited number of tickets remain in the Arkansas section and can be purchased by calling the Razorback Ticket Center at 800-982-HOGS or online at ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
