Razorbacks slip in ranking

FAYETTEVILLE – The Arkansas swim and dive team remains in the top 20 national rankings, but slipped one spot to No. 20, College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced on Tuesday.

The Razorbacks came back in 2011 with full force and swept their opponents since coming off their winter training trips. UA (8-2, 2-1) topped Kansas 170-130 earlier in the month and made an impression at home when it breezed by Houston 153-90 on Jan. 21.

Arkansas looks to keep the win streak alive as it hosts Division II power Drury on Saturday, Jan. 29.

Stanford, which has been ranked No.1 since November, hangs onto the top spot after defeating Arizona 178-114 and Georgia remains second in the country and Auburn jumps to fifth.

The next CSCAA poll is scheduled to be released on Feb. 17.
