Razorbacks Wrap Up Competition at Southern Intercollegiate

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Freshman netter Chris Nott advanced to the round of 16 at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships in Athens, Ga., his first collegiate tournament. Nott defeated Arthur Takahashi of Winthrop, 6-0, 3-6, 6-1, in the round of 32 before falling in straight sets to Middle Tennessee State’s Joao Paoliello, 6-3, 6-3, in Division II bracket play.

After his opening round win in Division II play, sophomore Bradwin Williams lost to Florida’s Dan Cash in three sets, 6-3, 4-6, 6-1.

In Division III consolation play, Tyler Tarnasky, also playing in his first tournament as a Razorback, defeated Joe Veeder of USC, 6-0, 6-4. Tarnasky next took on Louisville’s Ben Clos and lost in three tight sets, 5-7, 7-6, 10-8.
