Auburn opened the game with its first four batters reaching base en route to taking an early 2-0 lead against Razorback starter Sydney Wright. Arkansas ended the first inning by completing its eighth double play of the season when Jessica Harrison scooped up a grounder, tagged third and then threw over to first.

After a two-run third inning put the Tigers ahead 4-0, Arkansas came back to plate a run. Stephanie Canfield reached on a fielder’s choice, stole second, and was brought around to score on Harrison’s liner back up the middle. Harrison has tallied an RBI in both games against Auburn and is 4-for-6 (.667) with a home run in the team’s last three games.

The Tigers used a two-run home run to score three in the fourth, extending the lead to 7-1. Auburn ended the game in the bottom of the fifth, hitting a solo home run and then scoring the final run on a bases loaded single.
