FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas volleyball team will close out its weekend Sunday afternoon with a home match against LSU. First serve of the SEC matchup is set for 1:30 p.m. (CT) at Barnhill Arena. General admission is $5 for all home matches while UA students and fans 17 years and younger receive free admission.

Arkansas students are asked to use the street-level entrance on Stadium Drive to enter the arena. The free pizza will be located at that entrance. Doors open at 12:30 p.m., one hour ahead of Sunday’s first serve against LSU. The match will also be streamed live online at on SEC Network+ which is available through the WatchESPN app, ESPN3.com and SECNetwork.com. Sunday’s match will be the second meeting this season between Arkansas (11-12, 5-5 SEC) and LSU (13-7, 8-3 SEC) with the Tigers winning a five setter Oct. 5 in Baton Rouge. The Razorbacks lead the all-time series, 25-17, and have won 12 of the 19 matches played in Fayetteville including the last two at Barnhill Arena. Overall, Arkansas has won three of the last five meetings against LSU dating back to the start of the 2011 season.
In that first meeting in October, senior Meredith Hays had a match-high 27 kills to go along with 14 digs for what was her fifth double-double of the season. Junior Chanell Clark-Bibbs added 14 kills in the match and Arkansas out-hit the Tigers, .262-.238. Defensively, Clark-Bibbs led the team with four total blocks while junior libero Monica Bollinger led all players with 26 digs.
Hays continues to rank among the top 20 nationally with 4.55 kills per set and 5.00 points per set this season. She leads the SEC in both categories. Clark-Bibbs has posted double-digit kills in three-straight matches and is averaging 4.50 kills per set and a .443 hitting percentage in that same stretch. She is currently third among the league’s attackers with a .403 hitting percentage in SEC play.
