Recent meets scheduled for TV

FAYETTEVILLE – The tape-delay broadcast of Arkansas’ record-breaking gymnastics performance against No. 16 Auburn airs on Sunday at 2 p.m. on ESPNU.

Third-ranked Arkansas set a school record by scoring 197.025 points in the win over the Tigers, breaking the 197-point mark for the first time in program history. Senior All-American Casey Jo Magee set a school record with an all-around score of 39.625.

Magee also tied the school record with a 9.95 on beam, and matched UA’s second-best score with a 9.925 on bars. Sophomore All-American Jaime Pisani matched UA’s second-best mark with a 9.95 on vault.

A replay of the Jan. 29 meet against Kentucky airs on Friday at 1 p.m. and Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. Cox Sports Television produced the Arkansas-UK tape-delay broadcast, which means it is available only to Cox Cable subscribers.

In the Kentucky victory, Arkansas scored 196.750 points, the highest point total in the nation for that week.

This week’s meet, Friday at No. 9 Georgia, airs in a tape-delay broadcast on Fox Sports Net, which is Fox Sports Southwest in Arkansas, on Feb. 20 at 8 p.m.

The 197.025 against Auburn pushed Arkansas from No. 7 in the national rankings up to No. 3, which ties for the highest in program history. The Razorbacks were No. 3 for a week last year before finishing fifth in the nation.
