Remember the game day changes

FAYETTEVILLE — Razorback football fans are asked to remember three important game day procedure changes for the 2009 season at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

The new policies were put into place for the season home opener back in September, but with three weeks since a Fayetteville game and an early kickoff this week for Auburn, the athletic department is asking fans to please remember:* — Gates for home football games open for the general public two hours prior to announced kickoff.* — Traffic in the vicinity of Reynolds Razorback Stadium will change to the game day pre-game directions and patterns at four hours prior to announced kickoff.* — The alley along the south end of Reynolds Razorback Stadium will close after the first quarter to all foot traffic except public safety, visiting team and other authorized personnel. It will remain closed until one hour after the conclusion of the football game.Fans accustomed to using the south alley postgame are encouraged to stay inside the stadium and utilize the main concourse to travel between the east and west sides.

In addition, during times when the south alley is open, fans will not be allowed to congregate and will be encouraged to move through the space. The south alley will also close during the arrival of the visiting team buses then re-open once the visiting team is in the stadium.

Visiting fans wishing to greet their team buses are asked to stand along the side of Barnhill Drive near parking lot #67 and near the Walker Indoor Pavilion. They will not be allowed to enter into the south alley once the area is secured for visiting bus arrival.

For more information on all fan and safety regulations for Reynolds Razorback Stadium, the Arkansas Athletic Department created a new downloadable Fan Guide, which can be accessed through the department’s official website at ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
