Started 22 of 27 games either in the designated hitter position or first base spot … Batted .261 in his first full year with the Razorbacks, scoring 13 runs and garnering 23 hits, five being for extra-bases … Had 16 RBI, the second-highest total among Hog players with 130 at-bats or less … Had a .375 slugging percentage, but only walked seven times for a .313 on-base percentage … Showed a strong bat in SEC play with a .353 average in 10 games (34 at-bats) … Was only Arkansas player with 35 at-bats or less in conference play to still have 10 or more RBI (12) … Slugged .529 in conference play, which included one home run and five RBI, as well as one triple and one double … Made first Division I appearance on Feb. 19 against Central Michigan, going 1-for-3 with a sacrifice fly starting as the DH … Went on to record at least one hit in six of first seven games … Went 10-for-16 (.625) over first seven appearances at the plate, which included six RBI and one home run … Tallied season-high three RBI three times during season (vs. Miss. Son of Chad and Angie Catron … Has two brothers, Eric and Beau … Has two sisters, Lauren and Shannon … Uncle, Jon Cavin, played professional baseball in the Chicago White Sox organization … Uncle, Sean, played basketball at Northwestern State … Chose to attend Arkansas because he grew up watching Razorback baseball; “This is a dream come true and I’m truly blessed” … Ambition is to play professional baseball … Plans to become a physical therapist after his playing career is over … Also enjoys being outside and spending time with family … Is part of the Cherokee Nation and has a large family … Involved with the Service and Leadership Group and does community projects with the Cherokee Nation … Majoring in Kinesiology … Born on Sept. 20, 1994.
