Prior to Arkansas
Crisp spent the first two years of her collegiate career as a starter at Crowder College in Neosho, Mo., where she helped the Lady Riders to a regional and district title in 2012. For her work in the classroom, she was an Academic All-American in 2013. During her prep career at Farmington High School she was a two-time Northwest Arkansas Player of the Year and all-state performer. Crisp capped her high school career with a state title with the Cardinal.
Personal
Born November 2, 1992, Kala Marie Crisp is the daughter of Robert and Kathy Crisp and has two older siblings with Tony Crisp and Brandon Crisp. She plans to major in accounting during her academic career at Arkansas.
