Before Arkansas

Smith was a conference and state second-team performer during her senior season at Manhattan High School. She registered a .383 batting average as a senior. Smith also earned all-conference accolades as a junior. She helped the Indians to three appearances in the Class 6A regional finals and a semifinal berth in 2012. Smith played travel ball for the Flint Hill Wind in Kansas.

Personal

Born March 19, 1995, Kylie Renee Smith is the daughter of Michael Smith and Molly Smith and has three younger siblings in Kenzie Smith, Kason Smith and Kamryn Smith. Her father, Michael, is the wide receivers coach for the Arkansas football team. She is planning to major in biology during her academic career at Arkansas.
