Donned libero jersey for majority (107 of 120 sets) of junior season…finished eighth in the SEC with 3.57 digs per set…named to all-tournament team of season-opening Arkansas Invitational…moved into 16th place in program history with 791 career digs…became seventh player in program history with 28 digs in career-best performance against Oral Roberts (Sept. 9)…five matches with 20 or more digs, three of which came during SEC play…tallied 15+ digs in 12 matches…tied for third on the team with 13 service aces…dished out career-high eight assists in five-set win against Michigan (Aug. 30)…seven matches during the year with four or more assists from libero position.
2013 | Sophomore
Started 29 of 30 matches…14 matches with at least seven digs, including five with double-digit efforts…established a career high with 14 digs in five-set win over New Mexico…had 10 digs the following weekend in another five-set victory at Kansas…first 10-dig match of the SEC season came in four-setter against Alabama…collected 300th career dig during four-setter against No. 2 Florida…capped sophomore season with eight digs against Creighton in the first round of the NCAA Tournament…registered career-high four service aces in four-set win over Georgia…had a service ace in 16 of Arkansas’ 30 matches…five matches with at least two aces.

Prior to Arkansas
Bollinger was a four-year starter for Rockwood Summit High School. She was a four-time All-Suburban South Conference selection, earning first-team accolades on three occasions. As a six-rotation player for the Falcons, Bollinger finished her career with a school-record 1,105 kills, 802 digs and 183 service aces. During her career, Rockwood Summit was a four-time champion of the Rolla Tournament. Bollinger played club for High Performance, and in 2009 and 2011, her team won the Gateway Regional championship. She also helped the team finish fifth at the 2011 AAU Girls Junior National Championships and 2011 Big South National Qualifier. In 2009 and 2010, Bollinger was chosen to participate in the USA Volleyball High Performance Select A3 Program.
Born Feb. 26, 1994, she is the youngest of four children to Michael and Vickie Bollinger of St. Louis, Mo. Monica has three older sisters, Jessica, Sarah and Rebecca. While at Arkansas, she plans to major in general business and marketing.
