Appeared in 28 matches with 22 starts…second on the team with six double-doubles and 245 digs (2.58 digs/set)…reached double figures (kills) in 10 matches…established career high with 14 kills at No. 4 Kansas (Sept. 3)…went on to tie that mark in three other matches including against No. 9 Florida (Nov. 26) in the season finale…posted career highs of 17 digs and five total blocks against Southern Miss (Sept. 16)…13 matches with 10 or more digs…eight matches with three or more total blocks…second on the team with 19 service aces.
2015 | Junior
Played in 31 sets over 14 matches during junior campaign…came off the bench to register six kills, four digs and two service aces at Tennessee (Oct. 11)…established a career-high seven digs at Ole Miss (Nov. 6)…also had five kills against the Rebels…picked up five digs at Auburn (Nov. 22).
2014 | Sophomore
Made seven starts and played in 53 sets during sophomore season…season-high nine kills against Texas A&M (Nov. 19)…posted career-best .692 hitting percentage (9-0-13) against the Aggies…eight matches with four or more digs including career-high seven digs three times at LSU (Oct. 5), against Ole Miss (Oct. 8) and at No. 20 Texas A&M (Oct. 15)…also dished out career-best four assists in four-set win at the Aggies…served career-high three aces in win versus Ole Miss.
2013 | Freshman
Appeared in 14 matches this season including seven against SEC teams…delivered first career kill in two sets of action against Kansas…opened final home weekend with seven kills, three digs and three total blocks in straight-set win against South Carolina…registered season-high 11 kills and a .321 hitting percentage (11-2-28) with four digs in sweep of Mississippi State.
Prior to Arkansas
Following her senior year, Voelzke was named the 2012 All East Texas Player of the Year. She also collected a pair of All-State accolades and earned her second District 16-3A MVP award after posting 757 kills, 360 blocks, 163 digs and 65 service aces as a senior. She finished her prep career at Spring Hill with 2,318 kills and 665 blocks. Voelzke played club volleyball with East Texas Juniors.
Born April 19, 1995, Savannah Rosalind Voelzke is the younger of two children to Steve and Melissa Voelzke of Longview, Texas. Older brother Alex is a tight end for the Arkansas football team. While at Arkansas, she plans to major in accounting.
