As a Sophomore (2017)

What do you love most about gymnastics? I love the thrill of competing and that feeling of flying that no one else really gets to experience.

What was the best moment of your athletic career? Thus far, it’s signing to be a Gymback.

What keeps you motivated in and out of the gym? My family. I want to make them and my teammates proud.

Why did you choose to come to Arkansas? I wanted to compete in the SEC and I fell in love with the school right when I stepped foot on campus.

What’s the best thing about being a Gymback? The close-knit team and the friendships that come along with it.

What are your personal and team goals this season? For a team goal, I would love to make it to Super Six. For an individual goal, I would love to become an All-American.

What’s your favorite event? Floor.

If you could play any other sport, what would it be? Most likely I would play soccer or dance.

Who had the biggest influence in your athletics or in your life? My mom. She’s my best friend and knows how to push me and I always strive to make her proud.

Who’s your favorite athlete? Growing up my favorite athlete was Mia Hamm because I grew up in a soccer family and she was a great player. My current favorite athlete is either Simone Biles because she’s a freak of nature or Abby Wambach because she’s just incredible.

What’s your favorite healthy food? Any fruit and broccoli.

What’s your favorite unhealthy food? Ice cream and a sprinkle donut from Tim Hortons.

What’s your favorite movie? The Wizard of Oz and The Little Mermaid.

What’s your favorite TV show? Chopped, Friends and Saturday Night Live.

What do you like to do in your free time? Draw, cook, sleep and watch Disney movies

What are your plans after graduation? Haven’t decided what I want to do yet, it changes a lot. Either go to PT school or Nursing school.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Sydney, Australia, because it’s what I was named after.

What’s your favorite band? Maroon 5 or 1D.

Can you play any instruments or have any other hidden talents? I can play the flute and I’m really good at baking.

Do you have any superstitions? I have to watch Stick It before every meet and have a lucky stuffed animal that sticks with me.

What would your DJ name be? DJ Glone or DJ Squid.

Who would play you in a movie? Amanda Seyfried, she’s my twin.

What reality show would you like to be on? Either Chopped or Family Feud. Chopped because I would love to be able to cook like that and Family Feud because my family is really good at random trivia.

What celebrity would you most like to meet? Adam Levine or Johnny Depp.

If someone walked into your dorm room, what’s the first thing they would notice? That I love the American flag and my home state of Ohio.

What’s the best advice you have ever received? Believe in yourself and the rest is easy.
