SEC Indoor T&F Championship Tickets On Sale

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – All-session tickets for the 2016 SEC Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships are now on sale. The two day event, which will feature several national contenders from the 2015 season, will take place on Feb. 26-27.

The conference championships return to the “The Track Capital of the World” for the eighth time since the facility was opened in 2000. The Razorbacks last hosted the SEC indoor meet in 2013 during which, both the men’s and women’s programs earned the conference crown.

Three of the last five NCAA men’s indoor champions have been from the SEC. During the 2015 NCAA Indoor Championship three out of the top five programs were members of the Southeastern conference including No. 2 Florida, No. 3 Arkansas and No. 4 Texas A&M.

Arkansas women’s track and field are the defending NCAA indoor champions. They were joined in the top-10 at the 2015 national indoor meet by No. 3 Georgia, No. 4 Florida, No. 5 Kentucky and No. 9 LSU.

Fayetteville is home to the fastest indoor track in the world. Originally developed for the World Championships in Toronto, Canada the Tyson track has one of the sharpest inclines, with a 60 degree bank providing for record-breaking sprint times on an almost annual basis.

The two-day, all-session ticket prices are $35 for reserved seating and $25 for adult general admission. Youth and general admission student tickets are available for $15.

Tickets will be available online here, by contacting the Razorback Athletics Ticket Center via phone at (800) 982-4647 or in person at the Razorback Athletics Ticket Center located at 1295 S. Razorback Rd, just east of Baum Stadium.
