SEC Diving complete Arkansas sixth

LEXINGTON, KEN. – The University of Arkansas diving team finished the diving portion of the Southeastern Conference Championships moving back up to sixth place with 30 points. Kentucky remains on top with 103 points, followed by LSU with 101.5 and Auburn with 84. In the platform diving event Sunday, sophomore Madison Palmer led the way for the Lady’Backs placing13th-with a score of 196.45. She was followed by sophomore Kellyn Williams who also contributed points to the overall team score with a 16th-place finish. Junior Brieanne Kushner finished 19th with a 135.40. Both Palmer and Williams recorded career-best scores on the event. This was only the second platform diving event the Lady Razorbacks competed in all season. For the second straight day, Kentucky’s Taryn Ignacio took top honors with a score of 319.75 on the platform. Arkansas swimming travels to Lexington, Ken., Wednesday, Feb. 7, for the start of the swimming portion of the SEC Championships.
