Seniors To Be Honored Pregame

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas will host Missouri on Friday in the fourth annual Battle Line Rivalry presented by Shelter Insurance. The rivalry began in 2014 shortly after Missouri joined the Southeastern Conference.

The game will be broadcast nationally on CBS. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. CT.

The Battle Line Trophy, which was introduced prior to the 2015 meeting, is made of silver and stands more than four feet tall and weighs more than 180 pounds. The trophy depicts the outline of the two states with the border of the two states being divided by interchangeable silver inserts with the words Battle Line in either gold or cardinal. The color of the battle line within the trophy is reflective of the winner of the most recent game in the series.

This will be just the ninth meeting between the two schools in the last 111 years. Missouri owns a 5-3 advantage in the all-time series, which began in 1906.

The two schools have split the previous two meetings with Arkansas winning the first-ever meeting in Fayetteville in 2015, 28-3.

Friday will also serve as Senior Day for Arkansas. The following 16 seniors will be recognized in a special ceremony prior to the 1:30 p.m. kickoff:
