FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Seventy-nine Razorback student-athletes at the University of Arkansas recorded a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the spring semester, including nine with perfect GPAs of 4.0.
The student-athletes with 4.0 GPAs are baseball players Aaron Graves, Brett Hagedorn, Jason Reynolds and Brady Toops; Josh Landreth, Daniel Lincoln and Lloyd Meeks of the track team; and football players Josh Melton and Garrett Lewis.
Not counting Melton and Lewis, 33 other football players had a 3.0 or better, including Gerry Ahrens, Adam Almond, Zack Blake, Mark Bokermann, Jermaine Brooks, Bam Bryant, Tim Craig, Thomas Crowder, Scott Davenport, Josh Dennis, Josh Foliart, Cameron Glenn, John Geitner, Robby Hampton, Nathan Henry, Judson Holloway, Daniel Holtz, J.J. Jones, Thomas Latoof, Michael Malone, Jared McBride, Austin Mendenhall, Caleb Miller, Shannon Money, Jarod Morrison, Bo Mosley, Joey Mosley, Chuck Nalley, Brennan O’Donohoe, Jerry Reith, Kenny Sandlin, Mark Stavely and Jay Strain.
In addition to the 4.0 student-athletes, baseball had 16 others with a 3.0 or better, including Brad Chedister, Cody Clark, Chris Dickens, Matt Dotson, Jeff Fletcher, Clay Goodwin, Gary Hogan, Brian Kirby, Justin Leraris, Tigger Lyles, Jared Manatt, Wes McCrotty, Josh Merryman, Jon Murphy, Jon Richmond and Andrew Wishy.
In track, other 3.0 student-athletes are Jon Allen, Andrew Begley, P.J. Brown, Fernando Cabada, Paul Froelich, Dirk Heinze, Evan Kirkconnell, Cory Oldham, Chason Pompey, Patrick Thomas, Ramon Washington and Phil Yoder.
Other 3.0 student-athletes are Tiago Azevedo, Oskar Johansson, Magnus Kullenberg, Tim Shuler and Henrik Tofft of the tennis team; Ryan Blagg, Drew Higginbothom and Aaron Saint of the golf team; and Jamar Blackmon of the basketball team.
