Shots Dont Fall for Arkansas in Loss to Oklah
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas was cold from the field and the free throw line Saturday as Oklahoma State posted a 73-58 victory in Bud Walton Arena.

The bigger Cowboys shot 52 percent in the first half and 50 percent in the second half while the Razorbacks connected on just 29 percent of their shots in the first period and 38.9 percent in the second half. UA also made just one of seven first-half free throws and was 12 of 23 for the game.

“We really struggled shooting the ball, especially with free throws, and we couldn’t get it to go down during key moments in the game,” head coach Stan Heath said. “Our shots went in and out and we couldn’t convert. I wish we could have given more to the fans. I really appreciate them coming out. They were really into it and we wanted to give them something to feed off of. It was close, but it just didn’t happen.”
