Siow Totten at World Championships

ROME, Italy — University of Arkansas swimmers Yi-Ting Siow and Erica Totten were in action on the first day of the 13th FINA World Championships on Sunday in Rome, Italy. Siow, competing for Malaysia, finished 36th in the preliminary round of the 200-meter individual medley with a time of 2:17.02.

In the pool for the Republic of the Philippines, Totten touched in with a time of 4:21.32 in the preliminaries of the 400-meter freestyle, coming in 38th.

On Monday, Siow will be back in action in the 100-meter breaststroke and fellow senior Lynette Ng will take to the water for Singapore in the 100-meter backstroke.
