FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas swimmer Yi-Ting Siow won her second gold medal of the Southeast Asia Games in the 100-meter breaststroke event Friday in Laos. Her time of 1:09.82 broke another Southeast Asian Games record and her second Malaysian national record. The senior passed the Southeast Asia Games record time of 1:10.55 set by Nicoletta Teo of Singapore in 2007 and her own national record set at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.

Already in the games, Siow won gold in the 200m individual medley event Thursday and broke the two records with her time of 2:14.57. Arkansas junior Erica Totten, representing the Philippines, finished fifth in the 400m freestyle with a time of 4:21.70.
