Six games added to TV schedule

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas is teaming up with Razorback Sports Properties to bring an additional six games of the 2010-11 Razorback men’s basketball schedule to broadcast television, bringing Arkansas’ total number of regular season televised games to 25.

The Razorback Sports Network from ISP lineup begins on Nov. 26 with Arkansas’ game against Alabama-Birmingham in North Little Rock, Ark., and continues with the games against Oklahoma (Dec. 1), Mississippi Valley St. (Dec. 15), Texas Southern (Dec. 22), North Carolina A&T (Dec. 29) and Texas-Arlington (Dec. 31).

The Razorback Sports Network is comprised of three stations within Arkansas, KFTA (Ch. 24) in Fayetteville, KATV (Ch. 7) in Little Rock and KAIT (Ch. 8) in Jonesboro. Along with its six television broadcasts, the Razorback Sports Network from ISP is also the exclusive home to Arkansas basketball radio broadcasts and features a 47 station lineup that blankets the entire state. The Razorback Sport Network by ISP is operated by Razorback Sports Properties.

The complete Arkansas television schedule includes five games on the ESPN family of networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU), three games on Fox Sports Net, nine games on the SEC Network, two games on Comcast Sports along with the six RSN games. Along with the television slate, 15 of Arkansas’ 16 Southeastern Conference games will also be shown on ESPN3.com. In addition to the Razorbacks’ regular season schedule, the SEC Tournament will be broadcast by the SEC network, ESPN3.com and ABC with additional postseason games airing on a variety of networks.

The Razorback men’s basketball team holds its first official practice on Friday, Oct. 15 in preparation for the 2010-11 season.
