FAYETTEVILLE — Six University of Arkansas swimmers will represent the Razorbacks at the Virginia Tech Invitational held Feb. 8-9 in Blacksburg, Va., at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center. The invitational will serve as a championship meet for the six swimmers who helped contribute to a 9-1 (3-1, SEC) dual meet season for the team.
“We are excited for the six women representing us at the championship invite this weekend hosted by Virginia Tech,” head coach Sean Schimmel said. “There will be great competition and Arkansas swimming and diving is always looking to do things we have never done before, and this invite gives these women an opportunity to do that by shooting for life time best performances. That is our goal.”
Participating Arkansas swimmers include senior co-captain Lizzy Whitbeck (Oklahoma City, Okla.), senior Molly Milborn (Fishers, Ind.), and sophomores Jordan Kimmey (Flower Mound, Texas), Rachel Kessler (New Rochelle, N.Y.), Rebekah Harvey (Austin, Texas), and Rebekah Porter (The Woodlands, Texas).
Live stats will be available here during the meet.
