FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas Soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award, boasting a 3.36 team grade point average. It marks the 12th consecutive award for the Razorbacks.
"What an honor this is," said Head Coach Colby Hale. "It just goes to show how special of a group this really is. This group has set out to create a championship program. That requires extraordinary dedication and sacrifice in so many different areas. It is really a pretty extraordinary group."
The Southeastern Conference (SEC) had 13 schools awarded the honor for their success in the classroom. Coming off of the most successful season in program history, Arkansas holds the fourth-highest GPA in the SEC with a 3.36.
