FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — After battling from behind four different times for a comeback SEC road win at Vanderbilt on Friday, the University of Arkansas soccer team (10-5, 3-4) returns home to Razorback Field to host Tennessee (7-5-3, 2-3-2) on Sunday. The match is slated for a 1 p.m. kick. Sophomore Ashleigh Ellenwood scored two of the team’s season-high five goals in the match at Vanderbilt, including the game-winner just 25 seconds into the extra frame, as the overtime win was the fourth of the season for the Razorbacks and their seventh one-goal victory. Arkansas has scored in the first minute of overtime twice this season and the 19 wins under head coach Colby Hale are tied for the most over any two-year span in program history. Tennessee is coming into the match off of a 1-1 tie against Auburn. The Razorbacks trail the all-time series with Tennessee at 2-11-1, however Arkansas was able to defeat Tennessee in the last matchup in Knoxville, 1-0, in 2012. Tickets for the match will be featured as a buy one get one free event. During halftime of the match, members of the Razorback Sweat Hawg program will be recognized. Also, after the match members of the Razorback soccer team and coaching staff will host a free youth clinic for children in the eighth grade or younger. Fans unable to attend the match will be able to watch the live video stream from RazorVision available on www.ArkansasRazorbacks.com. A Live blog will also be available and for in-match updates follow the team’s Twitter account @RazorbackSoccer.
