Tyson Foods and the University of Arkansas Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced today an expanded partnership, introducing one of the first ever jersey patch sponsorships and creating one of the most visible brand integrations in college sports.

Arkansas and Oklahoma State went back-and-forth in the final round of the 16th annual CABO COLLEGIATE, played at the par-71 Twin Dolphin Club, but it was the #11 Cowboys (-22) that edged the #9 Razorbacks (-21) by one stroke to claim the team title.

All five Razorbacks shot par or better in round two of the 16th annual CABO COLLEGIATE – including a 66 from Cam Smith – as #9 Arkansas carded a 14-under-par round to vault to the top of the leaderboard with a two-day, 17-under-par total of 551 (281-270).

Gerardo Gomez shot a bogey-free 67 (-4), Thomas Curry had an eagle on 18 for a 67 (-4) and the #9 Arkansas Razorbacks are at -3 (281) as all three stand in a tie for second at the 16th annual CABO COLLEGIATE, played on the par-71 Twin Dolphin Club.

For the 16th consecutive year, the #9 Arkansas men’s golf team will host some of the best programs in the country at one of the most anticipated college events each year – the CABO COLLEGIATE – played Mar. 1-3 at the Twin Dolphin Club in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Arkansas fired a 5-under-par 275 in the final round to chase down #3 Vanderbilt and win the Watersound Invitational, played at The Third Golf Course at Watersound Club. The #8 Razorbacks had all six golfers place among the top 21 to finish with a 54-hole, 19-under-par 821 for a one-shot victory over the Commodores in the 12-team field.
