Softball - Arkansas Razorbacks

No. 8/9 Arkansas opens its 30th season of play and 11th season under the direction of head coach Courtney Deifel in Conway, S.C., at the Kickin’ Chicken Classic, Feb. 6-8.

The Arkansas Softball program, in conjunction with the Southeastern Conference, has released select television designations, as announced on Friday morning. The No. 8/9 Arkansas Razorbacks will appear on the ESPN family of networks seven times throughout the regular season.

Arkansas softball senior LHP Robyn Herron and sophomore INF Ella McDowell were named Preseason All-SEC as the Razorbacks were predicted to finish fifth in a vote by the league’s coaches, the conference office announced on Thursday morning.

Arkansas Softball was slated at No. 9 in the NFCA/GoRout DI Preseason Top 25 Poll that was released on Tuesday morning.

Arkansas softball signees Macie Dever Boaz and Katie King were both named the top players in their respective states ahead of the 2026 season by MaxPreps, the publication announced Thursday afternoon.
