Stoeher names John Ozment Outstanding Junior Award Finalist

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Senior co-captain Rachel Stoehr was named one of five finalists for the Walton College of Business Supply Chain Management department’s John Ozment Outstanding Junior Award finalist, as announced by the college Tuesday.

Stoehr, a supply chain management major and marketing minor, boasts a 3.96 GPA and is a member of the Walton College Honors program. Additionally, Stoehr is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma (Walton College academic honor society and has been named to the Chancellor’s and Dean’s list ever semester she has been here, including four semesters with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

The John Ozment Outstanding Junior Award recognizes the top juniors based on scholarship, leadership, and work experience. The department’s award is named for John Ozment, a professor who has taught supply chain management for 25 years and retires this year. Stoehr was named one of five finalists.

Stoehr made her second consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships last March. The Lake Forest, Illinois native was a member of Arkansas’ 800 free relay team that clinched the program record and the school’s third NCAA ‘A’ cut in program history at the 2015 SEC Championships. The quartet also touched the wall fourth, the highest relay finish for the Razorbacks in school history.
