Students encouraged to attend spring game

Students are encouraged to attend the 2009 Razorback Football Spring Game and there will be several promotions promoting their attendance. The game will be held Saturday, April 18, at 6 p.m. RazorFest activities will begin at Noon and will be located in lot 44 and inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

There will be two student attendance contests with students having the opportunity to win great prizes. First, fraternities and sororities will be grouped with their homecoming pairings and the group with the highest attendance will receive the opportunity to have dinner with head coach Bobby Petrino in the fall.

The second promotion gives every student the opportunity to sign up for several in-game drawings that will include Razorback memorabilia and gift certificates from local businesses.

The following is a list of local businesses who have donated prizes for students to win: Chick-Fil-A, Slims Chickens, Grubs, Tim’s Pizza, Grease Pig, Stonebridge, T.G.I. Friday’s, Impressions, Pink Papaya, Hog Heaven, So Inviting, Noodles, Lucky Lukes, Catfish Hole, Walker Brothers, and Inta-Juice.

This is a free event with a recommended donation to the Tusk Fund to help continue the live mascot program at the University of Arkansas.
