Sunday's game moved to 11:05 a.m.

FAYETTEVILLE – The Arkansas Baseball team’s Sunday game time with Washington State on Feb. 22 has been changed to an 11:05 a.m. first pitch it was announced by Razorback head coach Dave Van Horn on Tuesday.

The change was made in order to accommodate Washington State’s travel plans which were adjusted by the airline. Both Arkansas and Washington State hope that by changing the start of Sunday’s contest the teams will be able to complete nine innings in the third game of 2009’s opening series.

“The airline changed Washington State’s travel arrangements a little while ago,” Van Horn said. “Because of that we were forced to make an adjustment on our end. This is the opening weekend of the season and we definitely want to get all three games in.”

The Razorbacks and Cougars first pitch is scheduled for Friday afternoon, Feb. 20, at 3:05 p.m. at Baum Stadium. For more information regarding Razorback baseball or University of Arkansas athletics please visit ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
