John Matsko joined the Razorback Foundation team in 2013 as associate director. He oversees all development activities and strategies for the Annual Fund and Priority Points Program, manages the Foundation’s external team and assists with all major gift fundraising. Additionally, Matsko serves on the athletic department’s senior staff.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Matsko was assistant athletic director for development at West Virginia University from 2008-2013. Other past positions include assistant director for development at the University of Texas at El Paso from 2006-2008 and several positions at the University of Kansas from 2001-2006.
A native of Durham, North Carolina, Matsko received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Louisiana State University in 2000 before earning a master’s degree in sports administration from the University of Kansas in 2002.
He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in education from Kansas.
Matsko and his wife Casey have a daughter, Eila and white-chocolate lab, Chloe.
