'The Best Show in Town' Tickets Available Now
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Best Show in Town will be back in Barnhill Arena for the 2016 season as Arkansas gymnastics looks to build off its 10th-consecutive top-15 finish. This year’s home schedule features five meets, including the Razorbacks facing off against three teams who finished in the top 10 in 2015.
Arkansas hosts its first meet on Jan. 15 when Georgia comes to Fayetteville. The Bulldogs squeaked out a win last season in Athens, Georgia, so this year, the Razorbacks look to return the favor as hosts. The most intriguing non-conference matchup of the season comes only two days later, as Arkansas hosts Oklahoma on Jan. 17. The Sooners were runners-up to national champion Florida in 2015.
Two other SEC opponents come to Fayetteville: Auburn on Jan. 29 and Kentucky on Feb. 26. Utah State, of the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference, also visits Barnhill this season, rounding out the regular season with a meet on March 11 that will serve as Arkansas’ Senior Night.
