“I love my floor music this year,” sophomore Heather Elswick said. “My music allows me to be more energetic in my routine and I just enjoy my routine more while I am putting on a performance for the fans. I love my floor routine because it allows me to express myself and my excitement for the routine while I am out there."
#NFLHogs Below is a summary of former @RazorbackFB student-athletes in action during Week 16 competition yesterday. With one week remaining in the regular season, seven teams that have either clinched a playoff berth or are playing for a playoff spot next week have at least one former Razorback on their active roster. New England has more former Razorbacks than any other NFL team, with Jake Bequette, Ryan Mallett and D.J. Williams on the active roster. New England clinched the AFC East yesterday, winning 41-7 at Baltimore, and are still in contention for the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC playoffs. Knile Davis returned three kickoffs for 31 yards and added one two-yard rush for Kansas City against Indianapolis. The Chiefs have clinched the No. 5 seed for the AFC playoffs, which begin Jan. 4. Felix Jones totaled 52 all-purpose yards in Pittsburgh’s 38-31 win at Green Bay. Jones had four kickoff returns for 45 yards and one seven-yard rush as the Steelers remained alive for the AFC’s No. 6 seed in the playoffs.
Jason Peters and the Philadelphia offense gained 514 total yards, including 289 rushing, in a 54-11 home victory over Chicago. The Eagles have a one-game lead in the NFC East and play at Dallas next week with the winner claiming the division championship.
Jarius Wright caught a 36-yard touchdown pass for the Vikings at Cincinnati and finished the game leading the team in receiving yards. Watch his touchdown catch here.
George Wilson grabbed the game-clinching interception and made one solo tackle in Tennessee’s 20-16 win at Jacksonville. Take a look at his one-handed grab here.
Darren McFadden rushed four times for eight yards, including a five-yard touchdown run, and caught one eight-yard pass for Oakland at San Diego. Watch McFadden’s score here.
Dennis Johnson earned the first start of his professional career and rushed 12 times for 29 yards, caught two passes and returned one kickoff 22 yards for Houston against Denver.
