The Razorback game day football blog -- ULM

9:35 p.m. — Casey Dick takes a knee, and for the second week in a row, Arkansas rallies to victory — 28-27. Good night from War Memorial, and on to the game story.

9:33 p.m. — Jener misses his first attempt of the night, pushing it right and short. ARKANSAS ball.

9:27 p.m. — The defense holds, and it will force a 45-yard field goal attempt for the win by ULM.

9:25 p.m. — ULM isn’t done yet. McCall gets a pair of receptions to move ULM to the Arkansas 30 yard line.

9:18 p.m. — Shay Haddock’s PAT . . . . . . . IT’S GOOOOOOOOOD. Razorbacks lead, 28-27 with 1:22 to play.

9:17 p.m. — Casey Dick to D.J. Williams and it’s TOUCHDOWN ARKANSAS. 27-27. PAT to come.

9:15 p.m. — A 25-yard gain Chris Gragg on fourth down. The freshman’s first catch of his career. Hard to describe how clutch the catch was. Casey Dick makes a great play-fake, but lofts the pass under some pressure. Gragg goes up against two ULM players and hauls it down. Arkansas’ comeback drive is alive at the ULM eight yard line. First and goal — 1:27 left to play — ULM calls timeout.

9:14 p.m. — Stop me if this is sounding familiar; Razorbacks facing fourth down late in the game. 4th and 1 at the ULM 32. Razorbacks take a time out and they are calling the hogs in WMS.

9:13 p.m. — DeAnthony Curtis’ 22-yard gain puts Arkansas in ULM territory. 2:55 and the clock is running.

9:12 p.m. — Joe Adams makes a clutch play to advance to a third and two; Michael Smith gets the first down and more out to the 37 yard line. The clock is running with 3:33 left.

9:11 p.m. — Razorbacks force the punt, and are back in business with just under five minutes left.

9:08 p.m. — ULM’s quarterback gets injured and leaves for one play; Lancaster returns, but wide receiver Darrell McNeal lines up at QB for the direct snap and gets only a handful of yards. 2nd and 10.

9:03 p.m. — Casey Dick scrambles on third down, on fourth Arkansas punts to ULM. Plenty of time left to not chance the fourth down play at midfield. Clock shows 7:23.

9:00 p.m. — D.J. Williams keeps the drive going with a clutch third down catch; Michael Smith’s second down catch results in ULM’s Chance Payne being separated from his helmet.

8:47 p.m. — All preseason, Coach Petrino has talked about getting yards after the catch — well D.J. Williams made that happen with a 76-yard first-down catch. Williams picked up the pass around the 45 — 25 in the air — and hit the afterburners. It took a valiant last diving effort by ULM’s Nate Brown to trip Williams up at the 10, and even with that, Williams almost stumbled into the end zone.

7:13 p.m. — The defense holds ULM to a field goal attempt, the 16 yard attempt by Jeremy Jenner is good, 10-6 ULM.

7:09 p.m. — Anthony McCall blocks Arkansas’ punt, 1st and 10 for ULM at the 21.

6:25 p.m. — Razorbacks hold after one first down allowed. Another media timeout as Arkansas readies for its second drive of the night.
