In the first running final of the day, McLeod posted a school-record performance of 7.49 to cruise to the 60-meter hurdles title. In addition to the new school mark, the Razorback sophomore also established an SEC meet record and tied the No. 2 time in NCAA history. McLeod is the first Arkansas runner since Chris Phillips (1992, 1994) to win an SEC hurdle title but the first to do so over 60 meters; the SEC ran its hurdles over 55 meters through the 1999 championship.

Arkansas’ first points of the day came from Irwin’s third-career title in the pole vault. The Mt. Ida., Ark., native had a final clearance of 5.58m/18-3.75 on his way to become just the fourth man in SEC history to win three indoor titles in the pole vault. Irwin won his first of three SEC indoor titles as a freshman in Lexington as a freshman.

Doubling back from his win Friday night at 3,000 meters, Campbell returned for his second title of the weekend with a first-place performance at 5,000 meters. He led a 1-2-4 scoring trio for the Razorbacks that included Stanley Kebenei and Alex George, respectively. Campbell is the third Razorback in program history to earn the 3K-5K double and first to do so since Peter Kosgei in 2005.

The Razorbacks also got individual scoring efforts from Marqueze Washington (400m/fifth), Austen Dalquist (mile/sixth), Ryan Thomas (800m/sixth), Clive Pullen (triple jump/seventh), Kenzo Cotton (200m/eighth), Brad Culp (heptathlon/eighth) and Patrick Rono (800m/eighth). Additionally, Arkansas’ distance-medley relay was fifth while the 4×400-meter relay team closed out the weekend with a seventh-place result.
