Track Hogs at USA Champs

FAYETTEVILLE – Current and former members of the Arkansas Razorback men’s and women’s track and field teams will be competing at the USA Championships, Thurs.-Sun., June 24-27. The meet is being held at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.

On the women’s side, current student-athletes competing this weekend are Stephanie Brown (jr. 800 meters), Gwendolyn Flowers (jr. 200 meters), Regina George (jr. 400 meters), Brittany Hyter (400-meter hurdles), Katie Stripling (pole vault) and Shelise Williams (400 meters).

Women’s track and field alumni that are competing include Amy Yoder Begley (10,000 meters), April Steiner Bennett (pole vault), LaShaunte’a Moore (100 meters and 200 meters) and Christin Wurth-Thomas (800 meters and 1,500 meters). Volunteer assistant coach Monica Hargrove will be running the 400 meters.

On the men’s side, current student-athletes competing this weekend are Caleb Cross (jr. 110-meter and 400-meter hurdles), Leoman Momoh (jr. 800 meters) and Travis Southard (jr. 400-meter hurdles).

Men’s track and field alumni that are competing include Nkosinza Balumbu (triple jump), Jeremy Scott (pole vault) and Wallace Spearmon, Jr. (100 meters and 200 meters).
