FAYETTEVILLE — University of Arkansas junior-to-be Emily Tubert tees it up with the professionals Friday at the Walmart NW Arkansas LPGA Championship at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Ark. Tubert returns to the championship field for the second-straight year following another successful season in the cardinal red and white. The Razorbacks placed second at the Southeastern Conference Championship where Tubert’s individual performance saw her finish third and earn SEC First-Team honors. She went on to lead the Razorbacks through the NCAA Central Regional and to a 23rd-place showing at the NCAA Championship. The Burbank, Calif., native is scheduled for a 1:06 p.m. tee time from the first hole. She is pairded with Hannah Un and Angela Oh. The world’s No. 1 ranked player and two-time defending champion Yani Tseng will join a host of other LPGA favorites including former Razorback and current top-ranked American Stacy Lewis, Paula Creamer and Brittany Lincicome. Weekly grounds passes, valid all week, can be purchased for $50. Admission is free to the public Monday, June 25 — Thursday, June 28.
