Tyler Hill Earns SEC Accolade

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. Arkansas Razorback senior Tyler Hill, a member of the track and field team, was named to the SEC Good Works Team, it was announced by the conference on Monday.

The SEC sponsors Community Service Teams for all 20 league-sponsored sports. The Community Service Team looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to his community in superior service efforts.

In the community, Tyler Hill has been a volunteer with Special Olympics as well as spending time speaking to area schools and local medical clinics. He is active in Arkansas Athletes Outreach and has helped with Razorbacks for Christmas, helping provide gifts for underprivileged kids.

Athletically, the biology major from Ethel, La. is a four-year letterman in cross country and track and field. He recently earned his first All-America honor with an eighth-place finish in the 5,000 meters at the 2008 NCAA Indoor Championships.

Arkansas track and field will compete next at the SEC Championships, May 15-18, at Auburn University. For complete details, visit www.hogwired.com.
