FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas had very little success shooting over Florida’s zone on Saturday and the Gators were able to hang on for a 73-68 victory in Bud Walton Arena.
Arkansas drops to 12-13 overall and 4-10 in the Southeastern Conference with the loss while Florida improves to 17-8 overall and 8-6.
Florida opened the game in a 2-3 zone and Arkansas was forced to shoot the ball from outside. The Razorbacks were 0-13 on three-pointers in the first half. Florida played a few possessions in man-to-man, but stuck with the zone for the majority of the second half when UA hit two of 12 threes, finishing the game two of 25, 8 percent.
