UA No. 13 in GymInfo poll

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas’ gymnastics team is ranked No. 13 in this week’s GymInfo national rankings, which were released on Monday.

The Razorbacks scored 195.075 points in the season-opener at then-No. 4 Oklahoma and had 194.75 points in Friday’s home-opener against then No. 9 Alabama.

Arkansas’ team average is 194.913.

In the individual events, the Razorbacks are No. 5 in the country on floor, No. 8 on vault, No. 22 on bars and No. 23 on beam.

Individually, freshman Katherine Grable is No. 14 in the all-around and junior All-American Jaime Pisani is tied for No. 17.

Grable has won the all-around in each of her first two collegiate meets, tying Pisani for the title on Friday.

Pisani is also ranked No. 9 on vault and No. 6 on floor.

In the South Central Regional rankings, Arkansas is No. 3 overall, No. 1 on vault and floor, tied for third on bars and fourth on beam.

Individually, Grable and Pisani are first and second, respectively, in the all-around with sophomore Jordan Salsberg No. 12.

On vault, Pisani is No. 1, followed by Grable at No. 5, senior All-American Michelle Stout at No. 13 and sophomore Amanda Siebert at No. 20.

On bars, Pisani is tied for No. 7, junior Mariah Howdeshell and freshman Shelby Salmon are tied at No. 16 and Grable is No. 20.

On beam, Grable is tied for No. 8 and Salsberg is No. 15.

On floor, Pisani is tied for No. 1, followed by Grable at No. 5, freshman Bailee Zumwalde at No. 14 and Siebert tied for No. 22.

Arkansas is on the road this week, facing No. 27 Kentucky in Lexington on Friday at 6 p.m.

The Wildcats are No. 15 on vault, No. 25 on bars, No. 48 on beam and No. 3 on floor.
